Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how FovCommerce ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the WFS Integration Shopify application (the "App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

When you install the App, we collect and store the following data:

• Store information — your Shopify store domain and OAuth access token (required to interact with Shopify on your behalf).
• Order data — Shopify order IDs, line items, shipping addresses, customer email addresses, and phone numbers, solely to submit fulfillment requests to Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) or Walmart Multichannel Solutions (MCS).
• Inventory data — product SKUs and inventory levels synced between Shopify and Walmart warehouses.
• Walmart credentials — your Walmart Seller Center Client ID and Client Secret, stored encrypted to authenticate API calls on your behalf.
• Billing data — Shopify subscription charge IDs managed through the Shopify Billing API. We do not store credit card numbers.
• App usage logs — event logs (order submissions, sync operations, errors) for debugging and audit purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To submit your Shopify orders to Walmart WFS/MCS for fulfillment.
• To sync inventory levels between Walmart warehouses and your Shopify store location.
• To display order status, tracking information, and returns in your Shopify Admin.
• To manage your subscription via the Shopify Billing API.
• To diagnose errors and improve the App.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data or your customers' data with any third party except Walmart (as required to perform fulfillment) and Shopify (as required by the platform integration).

3. Third-Party Services

• Shopify — the platform through which the App operates. Shopify's privacy policy applies to your use of the Shopify platform: shopify.com/legal/privacy.
• Walmart Marketplace API — order and inventory data is transmitted to Walmart's servers to fulfill orders. Walmart's privacy policy governs their handling of that data: walmart.com privacy policy.
• MongoDB Atlas / AWS — data is stored in cloud infrastructure hosted within the United States.

4. Data Retention

We retain your store data for as long as the App is installed. When you uninstall the App, your active store record is deactivated. In accordance with the Shopify API License Agreement, customer and order data is available for export upon request within 30 days of uninstallation.

Following a verified GDPR erasure request, customer personally identifiable information (name, email, phone, address) is anonymized within 48 hours. Anonymized order records (amounts, SKUs, fulfillment IDs) may be retained for up to 7 years for financial record-keeping purposes.

5. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

If you or your customers are located in the European Economic Area or California, you have the following rights:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold.
• Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
• Erasure — request deletion of personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Objection — object to processing of your personal data.

To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days. Data erasure requests submitted through Shopify's GDPR webhooks are processed automatically.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted storage of credentials, HTTPS-only communication, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; however, we strive to protect your information using commercially reasonable means.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by Shopify merchants (businesses). We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 16.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or by email to the store owner address on record. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
